PROFILE
• B.A from the Piano Department, College of Music, Kyungwon University.
• Professional performer’s diploma from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Poland.
• Master’s degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Doctoral degree from the University of Minnesota in the United States (full scholarship recipient, summa cum laude, awarded ‘Ted Mann Musician’ for outstanding performance).
• Invited to perform at the international music festivals in St. Petersburg, Russia, and Budapest, Hungary.
• Solo recital and interview hosted by the Schubert Society of the USA.
• Performed with the Hamburg Chamber Orchestra in Germany and managed the Würzburg Music Camp.
• Pioneered the Piano Performance Psychology Guidance Method in South Korea, establishing the certification and registration.
• Performed at a Korea-US Friendship Exchange Concert at the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall.
• Authored five specialized books in the field of music and actively engaged as a professional music journalist and a critic.
• Served as the head professor of the Professional Performer Program at Kyungwon University’s Lifelong Education Center, adjunct professor at Seoul Han Young University, and guest professor at Myongji University Graduate School of Arts and Culture.
• Inaugurated Global Piania Conservatory in Seoul, South Korea in 2018, dedicated to professional training, online piano lesson and lectures of the next generation of pianists, piano teachers, piano majors including amateurs.
